The Hohner Conservatory is a state certified vocational training college for accordion teachers. Students can choose between the fields of classical music, jazz/pop/rock, or “interdisciplinary accordion”. This offers the possibility of taking chromatic harmonica as a second major subject, with the option of specializing in this area.

A wide range of courses with renowned lecturers, as well as practical training, form a solid foundation for a career in music. A broad spectrum of professional options is open to graduates, including music school teacher, music school director, conductor and instructor in musical associations, joining successful bands and ensembles, or working as a studio musician. Some alumni also choose to pursue postgraduate studies.
