What you should know – all about the competition:
7 exciting categories: Whether you’re an experienced virtuoso or an emerging talent, you’ll find the right category for your skill level and musical style. Classical or popular music, soloist or ensemble, junior or senior – there’s something for everyone.
Two challenging rounds: The competition consists of two rounds, in which you can prove your skills and versatility. The special part – the second round of the competition takes place as part of a public concert. This gives you the opportunity to demonstrate your stage presence. Show your musical talent and experience how your accordion sound comes to life on stage.
Great prizes and awards: In addition to the chance to compete with the best accordionists, you can win prize money totaling over €10,000 and, of course, receive recognition for your outstanding achievements.

• Minimum age: 18 years
• Round 1: 15-20 minutes

• Average minimum age: 18 years

Schedule and Highlights:
- Tuesday evening: We will meet for the draw to determine the order in which each participant will compete. An exciting moment that will increase the anticipation for the competition even more!
- Wednesday / Thursday / Friday: Time to play – you’ll present yourself in your category before the jury.
- Friday evening: The top three juniors from each category will compete in the second round in the Junior Final, which will take place as part of a public concert – a highlight for the younger talents, who will impress with their skills.
- Saturday evening: The top three seniors will take the stage in the second round of the Senior Final at a public concert, showcasing their impressive abilities to earn their place at the top.
